Important Update: Canada Post Service Delays
Sarah MartelShare
We wanted to keep you informed about potential shipping delays that may affect your orders in the coming days and weeks.
What's Happening?
Canada Post workers have transitioned from a countrywide strike to rotating stoppages, which means mail and parcel delivery is gradually resuming across the country. However, this new strike format presents some unique challenges for both Canada Post and our customers.
What Does "Rotating Strikes" Mean?
Unlike a full nationwide strike, rotating strikes affect specific locations on different days. This means that postal workers in certain cities or regions will walk off the job while operations continue elsewhere. The strikes then move to different locations, creating an unpredictable pattern of service interruptions.
How This Affects Your Orders
Unfortunately, this situation is completely out of our control, and we cannot predict:
- Which locations will experience strikes on any given day
- How long each local strike will last
- When your specific shipment might be affected
Canada Post has warned of delivery delays due to ongoing localized rotating strikes, and we're seeing these delays impact shipments across the country in unpredictable ways.
What We're Doing
We continue to ship orders promptly using Canada Post Lettermail as usual. We're shipping everything out on time from our end and monitoring the situation closely.
What You Can Expect
- Some orders may arrive on time without any issues
- Others may experience delays ranging from a few days to potentially longer
- Since we ship via Lettermail without tracking numbers, we won't be able to pinpoint where your order is in the system during delays
We Appreciate Your Patience
We understand how frustrating unexpected delays can be, especially when you're waiting for an important order. Please know that we're doing everything we can on our end to get your packages to you as quickly as possible.
If you have concerns about a specific order, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to help and will do our best to provide updates as the situation develops.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support during this challenging time.
